I want a new game to play

Dominik999

Hello!

So, the title unfortunately isn't quite accurate, put you'll see what I'm pointing at in just a second.

I like games where you upgrade stuff, like Idle Miner Tycoon, Clash of Clans, etc.

I know about RuneScape too, but I just don't like that game. I don't know why.

Do you maybe know some game in which you can progress up, or, how can I say, it, level up?

Just a game in which you can build your way up to success, a game that you can progress in.

This was the best way I could possibly describe what I want.

Elder Scrolls Online is a good leveling up game, Path of Exiles is good, world of warcraft.

And which game of those 3 is played the most? That's what I'd like to know. I don't wanna play a game that barely has even 2000 people playing it every day.

I just watched a few gameplays of those games on YouTube, and I seem to not like any of those.

The best place to ask this would be a community on Reddit. They are more active than here, try posting here: https://old.reddit.com/r/ShouldIbuythisgame/

You could try asking on Gamingtribe, more gamers there.

On the other hand, my personal recommendations (if I understood what you're looking for) would be:

- Stranded Deep

- Frostpunk

- This War of mine

- Cities: Skylines

- The Sims

- SimGolf

- Battle Realms

This is describing hundreds of games.

  • Battle Dragons
  • Battle Islands
  • Boom Beach
  • Call of Duty Heroes
  • Castle Clash
  • Clash of Kings
  • Craft The World (a personal favorite of mine, snag when on sale, hits $3.79 - $4.79 pretty regularly, worth every penny)
  • Dawn of Titans
  • DomiNations
  • Dragon Clans
  • Fallout Shelter
  • Guardian Kingdoms
  • Jungle Heat
  • My Lands Black Gem Hunting
  • My Time At Portia (not free, hits around $12.00 - $16.00 during major sales)
  • Ninja Kingdom
  • Plunder Pirates
  • Sky Clash Lords of Clans 3D
  • Star Wars Commander
  • Total Conquest
  • Total War Battles KINGDOM
  • Vikings War of Clans

Most of these are completely free. Some are available on Steam. Some are available on Windows. Some are available on mobile.

Lemme know if you want more. Just list games you've invested a lot of time in. These are all based off just Clash of Clans and Idle Miner Tycoon.

Maybe this link will help you find what you are looking for:
https://alternativeto.net/software/idle-miner-tycoon/

...or IMO something closest to Idle Miner type of games:

* Idle Farming Empire
* Crusaders of the lost idols
* Realm Grinder
* War Clicks
* Holyday City Reloaded

All of them are free to play, some of them also available on mobile, hope this helps.

Not sure about the other two games, but PoE has an average player base in the 10s of thousands, especially when new leagues are live, but it's mostly a solo game.

I agree that Reddit is a great place to search in more details about this topic, but if you are looking for a game like Idle miner than you should go to this subreddit:
