persistent breaks linux on usb

persistent mode hates me. I tried making a persistent Linux Mint USB a few months ago but whenever I booted off of it, it displayed the loading screen for around 5 seconds and then crashed to a terminal, saying something about not being able to load something (i can't really remember). I tried it again today and the same thing happened. does anyone know how to fix it? it's Linux Mint 19.1 (AMD-x64), burned using multibootusb, with 4GB persistence.

heck.

It fails to mount the root fs, i suggest you to change the persistent mode of your usb drive, what program did you use?

Search for a newer guide and programs
