persistent mode hates me. I tried making a persistent Linux Mint USB a few months ago but whenever I booted off of it, it displayed the loading screen for around 5 seconds and then crashed to a terminal, saying something about not being able to load something (i can't really remember). I tried it again today and the same thing happened. does anyone know how to fix it? it's Linux Mint 19.1 (AMD-x64), burned using multibootusb, with 4GB persistence.

heck.

Might I suggest try a full install if possible? I have found a post that helpfully gives some guidelines with regards to this: https://askubuntu.com/questions/295701/what-would-be-the-differences-between-a-persistent-usb-live-session-and-a-instal
