If screen tearing doesn't bother you then just leave it unlocked so that you get the highest fps possible, which makes the game feel more responsive.

Hello everyone ??

 

I have Samsung CFG70 Curved monitor and i installed the latest Nvidia Driver to test G-SYNC Compatibility on my monitor , i enabled it from Nvidia control panel and i turned the freesync on in monitor ..............

Soooooo after that should i turn the v-sync on in the game or leave it off ??????

Ans what setting else should i do with G-SYNC Compatible.

turn it off, and get used to using frame rate caps instead of Vsync as Vsync increases input lag.

vsync and framerate caps can be enabled/disabled at the same time as variable refreshrate for when the game fps is higher than the monitor's refresh rate.

Variable refreshrate does not provide infinite fps, it only works at the monitor's maximum refreshrate or lower.
