1050TI and an I9 9900K... what a combo, one of the most power efficient parts out there and one of the absolute worst "TDP" offenders

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

I'm pretty sure yes, as all am4 motherboards (ryzen 2600x socket) only have ddr4 compatibility.

I quote this from quora, "There are no AMD processors with dual mode memory controllers that fit in an AM4 socket, so there are no motherboards with AM4 sockets and DDR3 support. ...
