AMD 2700X - RTX 2060 Build

joaolfrois

I kept the 2700X and the case you wanted. Compared to your initial post, I chose a better motherboard, doubled the storage, gave you much faster memory (at a lower price as well), and added a better rated PSU. Let me know what you think!

@Vael @thinwalrus Why EVGA? Dont the EVGA RTX have noise/ cooling problems?

Price perf ratio is better on those than on +420€ models. And with 500€:s you can get a 2070. 2060 is close to 200W on load so it does not need a top tier cooler like 2080ti or vega to be reasonably quiet.

Built this earlier:

With the 32GB of RAM, this was intended to be both work and play PC. Since that fits your needs and your budget, why not?

This thing is ready to overclock and to rip!

(Edit: didn't initially see that the monitor was not included in pricing due to unavailability. Removed!)

Get a cheaper, better PSU. 550W will be fine, even 450W.

Although I would suggest waiting until July to build, Zen 2 comes out.

Here's one! and here's another!

And to amend my build above, the 2700 is on a spectacular sale in the UK.

Go for this and save 110 on that price tag, still with a 2070, yabish.
