AMD said it should.

To what capacity is anyone's guess.

There's also the possibility that it just won't.

So. Just roll the dice.

Honestly, if it comes to AMD keeping their word on all AM4 boards supporting future CPUs until 2020 or them making those future CPUs as powerful as possible regardless of backwards compatibility then I am all for them breaking their word.

A better way to put it might be that AMD may support it, but the mobo manufactures might not. Especially on low end boards which have already run into limitations due to lack of bios capacity to store CPU model related data. I'd consider a 450 to be mid range so unlikely to be impacted, but it is a mobo manufacturer decision, not AMDs.

Hey guys, its simple, will my B450 Aorus Pro work with AMD ryzen 4000 2020 CPUs? Or the support for AM4 is until 31 december 2019?

There is no way to know until they actually come out with those CPU's.  AMD said they would support the AM4 socket until 2020.  That doesn't really mean anything since the socket is a physical standard.  I wouldn't buy a motherboard now for a CPU you might want in two years.  Why would you upgrade in two years anyway? There is no guarantee Ryzen 4000 series will come out in 2020.

And with newer chipsets coming out you would think they might limit the older boards support. This way you make you buy a new board ;)

Considering Ryzen 3000 support is coming to most current AM4 motherboards, including the 300 series, going one more generation doesn't seem too far...

Ryzen 3000 support doesn't mean every motherboard will support every CPU and just because someone said they would support AM4 doesn't mean the Ryzen 4000 series will be supported on a first Gen Ryzen motherboard or any of the others.  It certainly could, but it's not guaranteed.  Things change and who knows what's going to happen at AMD in 14-16 months.

There's also what I like to call the "H310" phenomenon.

You can put a 9900k on an H310....but that doesn't mean it's gonna work out too well or is a good idea.
