Most Quiet Cooler can fit NZXT S340

LanaDelRey

Hi,

I need a really quiet cooler for my system. I own Z370 Mobo w/ 8600K. Runinng on 4.8Ghz/1.35V.

Which cooler is best for me? Can fit S340, can handle 8600K 4.8 ghz and quiet.

Thanks for answers. Sorry for grammar mistakes.

Dark rock 4 (200W TDP handle) is : 80 $ cost

FSP Windale 6 (240W TDP handle) is : 55 $ cost

Do you think DR4 is worth to buy?

Yes, even without the fans it's still too tall.

The NH D15S will work though.

Also the new NH U12A will work.

Ankerson think again, u'll be wrong:

Quote "I was able to fit a Dark Rock Pro 4 into my S340 Elite case. It is like 1-2 mm from the glass, but doesn't touch it. This is on a socket 1155 build."

Quote "I was curious cause the clearance listed on the s340 elite is 161mm while the DRP3 is 163mm. But it fit no problem,"

The NH-D15 and NH-D15S heatsinks are the same height but the NH-D15S's listed height is with the fan lowered.

The DR4 is quieter but you should probably get a better performing cooler for the price.

Where are you shopping / located? What ram are you using?

I can shop Worldwide, no problem with shopping.

I'm usin' Crucial's Sport LT rams, they are Low Profile so no issue with ram height.

DRP4 is my pick for most quiet cooler, that 250W TDP is awesome.

1-2mm doesn't really matter when you're trying to mount the cooler.

Manufacture stated TDP is almost completely useless. There's no standard way of testing.  Look at independent cooling benchmarks for how a cooler preforms.

Please be more specific. Most shops don't ship worldwide.

I have used a couple of them and the Dark Rock 4 is a great CPU cooler, it's powerful and quiet.

Well that's not true... You're shopping in the wrong places clearly. IE, 'Murica.
