? Please advice how many house power shall I get for power supply.

450W will be perfectly fine.

I'd recommend a Corsair CX(M) series or beFuckingLoud!  beQuiet! System Power 9 series

Ryzen 7 3700X / 16GB RAM / Optane SSD / GTX 1650 / Solus Linux

I strongly suggest adding a small 120GB SSD to your build. They are so cheap these days its worth just picking one up.

I already plan a NVMe 240GB for boot drive. Isn't it now a day most people use a SSD for boot and a HDD for storage? Or I've outdated. ?

Pretty much.

NVMe is unnecessary

Looks pretty good to me, although I would skip on the NVMe drive and get a cheaper SATA drive. I would recommend the Kingston A400, as it is quite cheap and perfectly functional as a Boot-Drive.

I would definitely get a new PSU, I can personally recommend the Corsair 450/550 CXMs. And unless this is purely for CPU intensive editing I would also get something like a used GTX 1060/ RX 480 /580 (or even a 590).

Best of luck on your new build :)

You could perhaps spring for something a bit larger and faster there, see if you can find HyperX Fury DDR4-3000 2x8GB instead of what you have, since your motherboard is Micro-ATX, you'll be stuck with 8GB.

That's only a suggestion though, if you're happy with 8GB, no need to change your new RAM choice. :)

I's wait for Ryzen 3rd Gen launching in a few months. If I were forced to build now I's get the absolute cheapest AM4 CPU and then replace it once 3rd gen launches.

Also get 3200Mhz ram instead. Ryzen likes fast ram.

I'll consider it, probaly lower the R5 to R3, feeling that the R5 2600 is over kill to my usage.

change to R3 2200G / A400 SSD 460GB / Fury DDR4 3200 / a good power supply.

Personally i would get the following and save a lot of cash for better upgrades:

Ryzen 1600 (dirt cheap these days in the US, not sure about malaysia)

B450 motherboard (MSI or AsRock are really nice this generation, and upgradeable for future chips)

Crucial MX500 M.2 drive (same price, less cables than the 2.5 inch version - NVME is pointless for everyday use)

The PSU don't look too good.

And why change?
Do you have the chance to wait a bit?? Like End of May? Because that#s the time when the next Ryzen is released.

You might want to look at a good deal maybe.

The NVMe SSD seems like a waste of money. A good S-ATA SSD might be a better choice and give you money to get faster/better Memory...

QLC NVMEs are about the same as SATA SSDs nowadays and should last you quite a while. Something like 110gb/day for 5 years type of endurance.

Crucial P1 tb SSD is $105 and Intel 660p 1tb is about the same.

Big brand 1tb SSDs are a bit more, it seems.

Can you wait a bit? Zen 2 and Navi should be coming out late-May, early-June.
