    Hey guys,

Quick question: For high-end gaming (ok maybe not HIGH-END so much like multiple 2080 Tis or anything like that), what is the best CPU, combining capability and value? The main priority is performance, and if I can save some money then value comes in handy. For Intel: Core i7-9700K or Core i9-9900K. For AMD: Ryzen?? I honestly don't know much about AMD's side so :( .

If you guys can come up with other suggestions, do tell me.

PC Specs: MOBO: Z390 Aorus Master

                   Storage: 1x Samsung 970 PRO 512GB

                   RAM: 4x8GB DDR4-3600 Trident Z RGB

Graphics: 1x Aorus Xtreme (non-Waterforce) RTX 2080 Ti

yeah 9700k or 9900k. well you can have less feature on mobo and get more storage if you want that. either both of them is top of the line CPU RN, i think

You might not be getting what I'm trying to say, but since you said the 9700K and the 9900K, let me ask you: which one?? I really don't know, would appreciate if you could help me out.

9900k is definitely not the best value. I doubt you'll see any performance gain beyond a 9700 non k.

Is there a difference between the two? If so, how much is the difference and is it worth the price hike? Because from my point of view, both the 9700K and 9900K are great processors, but the 9900K definitely holds the higher ground. Per my first post, performance is my first priority, so I guess the 9900K? But then again, the 9700K hold much greater value than the 9900K, so now I'm confused again,

i say i9 9900k or get a ryzen if you want to change to 3000 series. only if you can afford it, mobo is too much if you dont use all the features (aorus getting more expensive is just features nothing else, probably). AMD have the most VALUE of all of them but for pure gaming i will go 9700K but for more future proof and render stuff 9900K.

And if I choose to go Ryzen, what CPU should I get?

i think just hoid with a decent 1 atleast like 5 1600/2600, the FIRST gen can have price leaps everywhere so just watch out for that.  and i dont reccomend Ryzen 7 for gaming atleast for now. get a 3000Mhz Ram and a B450 board. decent cooler for OC, maybe
