Best GPU for 500-600 CAD?

IBojo

I'm currently ordering parts and have most of what I need. I still need the GPU and since there are so many on the market I was wondering what you guys think is the best option for around 500-600 CAD

I'm making an AMD build with the 2700x with the ASUS X470 MOBO

Thanks :)

I would say go with a 2060 or if you want to spend less go with a 1660Ti.  What is your preference ? Evga or MSI or Gigaybte or ASUS ?

Asus Sabertooth x79 / 4930k @ 4500 @ 1.408v / Gigabyte WF 2080 RTX / Corsair VG 64GB @ 1866 & AX1600i & H115i Pro @ 2x Noctua NF-A14 / Carbide 330r Blackout

Scarlett 2i2 Audio Interface / KRK Rokits 10" / Sennheiser HD 650 / Logitech G Pro Wireless Mouse & G915 Linear & G935 & C920 / SL 88 Grand / Cakewalk / NF-A14 Int P12 Ex
AOC 40" 4k Curved / LG 55" OLED C9 120hz / LaCie Porsche Design 2TB & 500GB / Samsung 950 Pro 500GB / 850 Pro 500GB / Crucial m4 500GB / Asus M.2 Card

@Slottr Yes for gaming. I was hoping for 1440p and whichever refresh rate makes sense for that price range. If I can get significant improvement in the GPU for an extra $100 (meaning 700 CAD total) I may consider it.

@Turtle Rig Don't have a preference as this is my first build and am un-familiar with the brands. My case is going to be black and white if that makes any difference.

Thanks guys :)

Go with this MSI 2060  and don't look back.  Do you care about RGB lighting ?

2070 will do well at 1440p, will be okay to get a higher refresh rate display as well. I'd shoot for about 100-120hz.

My bad Stottr ;  But a 2070 would be out of his budget no ?

Then you should make a thread about it, not hijack a dead thread to mention your problem.
