so about 1 and a half m,months ago i brought a brand new amazing Corsair RGB Strafe it was great is had the nice key switches of Cheery MX Red and was stunning with he RGB and now not even half a year later its had problems about 7 of my keys have faulty back lighting the W key shows bright pink instead of white the J key only shows the color red and nothing but red i i search this problem up to see if maybe im just unlucky but nope loads and loads of other are having the same problem too but why, Now i like corsair they are okay company (kinda overpriced) but if im going to spend 200 NZD on a brand new keyboard you would think its gonna last for a year at max or 2.

Anyways sorry for b*tching about corsair on the general chat o just wanna get my opinion out and if anyone knows how to fix this please tell me ive tried restarting it doesn't do anything ive made sure everything's updated does nothing and i dont think i have the best skills to RMA a keyboard so id rather not

Odds are they are faulty solder connections that were dislodged from all that tapping on the keys, so will definitely need an RMA.

RMA'ing a defective product doesn't really need any skills outside of placing the product in to a box and posting it.

Contact Corsair customer support for an RMA request. They'll be able to help you from there and provide you with information of where to post it.

Okay. Continue chatting to Corsair support and tell them that it's still broken and needs to be replaced.

Since you're already in contact with our support, have they asked you to perform a hard firmware reset of the keyboard and provided you with the necessary files?  Also, PM me your ticket number so I can check with the support team and see what the status is.  Regardless of the issue, we can get you squared away pretty quickly if you have to RMA the keyboard.

Did you do an iCue software update?  The last few updates messed up my RAM RGB.  I have heard of some issues if you have different RGB software installed that can control the same device.  Which i believe is the issue with my ram. (Giga-Byte's RGB Fusion I use for motherboard RGB, can also control the Corsair RAM)

We are always launching updates to the iCUE software with enhancements and to include new products we launch.  Are you running Corsair RGB memory in your build?  If so, try disabling RGB fusion and run iCUE alone and see if you run into the same issue.
