I'm sure I'm not the first to replace the noisy fan in their NVR so what is everyone using.

Stock fan is a Delta Electronics EFB0412HHD

12v, 9.9CFM,30.5dB, 8200RPM

The only fan noctua has that will work is the NF-A4x20 FLX

12v, 5.5cfm, 14.9db,5000RPM,  19$

These fans are all over amazon and seem to be a good competitor.

12v, 8.3CFM, 22dB,5800RPM 13$

Not sure if the noctua would cool the power supply enough.... Thoughts?

A lower performing fan wouldn't be ideal for the PSU's lifespan, and possibly let it overheat.

There's a reason such high rpm loud fans are necessary for those compact 1U power supplies.

Thats why I didn't immediately just grab the Noctua fan as I feel its under powered.  Its just this stock fan is so loud and obnoxious it has to go.  It is louder than my system with 9 120mm Fans.  I'm just hoping someone can give some feedback on other fans.

I ordered the 13$ fan I think it should suffice considering the fan moves 84% of the flow and the powersupply is designed to process signals from 16 cameras and provide POE for 8 and power 3 hard drives and I only have 6 POE cameras and one hard drive pulling from it.  If I have to I can always add another fan on the back side.
