help me find the right PSU!

Valhallatier

So plan is, i may upgrade my graphics card to a GTX 780/770

but i'm not really sure if my PSU Corsair CX600 can handle it or not.  So just in case, i will be buying a new PSU.

but i can't seem to find the right one.

- i want it to be White, or mostly white.

- if there's an LED, then it must be blue or white! or switchable on/off lights...

- Ribbon cables, if not then i want all black cables. and please not those horrible see through sleevings (like the one i have currently lol)

- Modular, or semi modular. because i will NOT be using more than (3 molex, 3 sata, 2 x 8 pin pcie, 24 pin mobo & 8 pin CPU).

also a little not so required but helpful addition is maybe more molex? because i never know if i need more molex fans :P

My specs are in my profile.

i think that's it...

The PC Power and Cooling Silencer Mk III 600W is a good choice. But I think your psu should be able to power it.

a CX600 can handle a GTX780 easy. But it could get noisy. I would buy the GPU and look if you are ok with the soundlvl. Even a good 450W PSU can handle a GTX 780

The cx600 is plenty already.

Where are you shopping/located?

@Valhallatier NZXT Hale 90V2 850W.

Overkill. A decent 500-600w is plenty as is.

your CX600 is alright powering the GTX 780/770, i doubt that it's gonna use around 500w... my GTX 670 only consumes about 300W on full load...

The Hale 90V2 is only in 850W+, it is the only one that's white.

There are a good number of other white psus available.

Which ones are available will depend on where the OP is shopping though.

How old is your current PSU? If its not that old it will be fine. Like others said it might get a bit loud though.

If you're getting a new one I would look for a decent, quiet 650W.
