Help me choose my laptop

How is dell g3 3579 for 4k video editing, my only requirement is 4k video editing and aftrr effects. Also if I upgrade my ssd into 1tb and 16gb ram

the cpu isn't too great so it'll run pretty slow and hot especially in after effects

the screen also isn't 4k which is sort of a no no in 4k video editing that the screen is a 4th the resolution of the actual video so you'll have no way to preview what the final product looks like.

It's not impossible but a desktop would be more suited.

The monitor is merely average even among 1080p TN on laptops, let alone 4K ones (I'm talking about colour and brightness). Cooling wise the 8300H model is quite good, but with 8750H, expect poor thermals.

My budget is around what the laptop costs in India. Also I have external display so that's not an issue

So why do you need a laptop if you're going to hook it up to an external display? Build a workstation that will be very significantly cheaper and more powerful

Yes i know that but i need to travel a lot, so i need to something which i can use in travel and also when i am in my place i can hook it with my display for final preview or colour grading

I just don't think that's possible with a budget of about 1000$ US. Perharps the used market can do you any good? I really don't know what's that like in India, unfortunately.
