They are both the same, the 8350 is just clocked a little higher straight out of the box

I'm debating if I should go with the 8320 or the 8350. Are there much difference in the two ? Is the 8320 overclock able? and how hard is it to overclock the 8350 , if i want to overclock it in the future. Running with Gigabyte GA 990FXA U3

The 8350 is basically an overclocked 8320 so..

The 8320 is a lower binned version of the 8350. The 8350 is more likely to reach higher clocks or require less voltage (by extension less heat output) than the 8320 to reach the same clocks as the 8350.

The 8350 can reach higher clocks or require less voltage to reach the same clocks as itself? Interesting... :P

8320 is pretty much just as good i have one and i dont see it slowing me dont in any way. in terms of gaming or video editing ( a small but not noticible amount from render to render)

an overclocked 8320 will have no issue with something like a 780ti or a 290 imo

Unless you're going crazy on your overclocks, you'll probably never notice a difference between the two.

When you compare the price between the two and the performance difference, the FX-8320 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009O7YU56 is a much better buy than the FX-8350 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009O7YUF6. The only way you should even consider the 8350 is if you are planning to do some serious overclocking and that is your main goal.

This is correct.

If reaching for high OCs then the 8350 is the way to go.

Yes but if the OP was to buy during a sale then it might be worth the increase in price. I remember seeing the 9370 at the same price as the 8350 currently is and I almost bought one to kill it. lol

Thanks everyone :) 8320 it is then.

It's the smartest choice imo. Also keep in mind you can EASILY overclock the 8320 to the same stock speeds of the 8350 by simply increasing the multiplier without touching the voltages. The 8350 can on average reach a higher overclock (or reach the same clock but at a lower voltage) but i personally just overclocked my 8320 to 4.2 and left it at that, Even if it could reach 5Ghz or something it's not like i'd actually run it at that on a daily basis so the "potential" that you pay a bunch of extra money for does nothing for me.
