Amazon Payment Verification

Last week I purchased a Fujifilm XT-3 camera on amazon. The total for the camera is just over my credit card limit, so I used amazon gift cards to pay for it. ($1820 in gift cards from my local kroger grocery store). Amazon has yet to ship it out because they need to do a "Payment verification" , and they say it will take 12 hours, but it has already been a week. If there is a problem with it they wont tell me, and I am so frustrated with them. Does anyone else know about this? Or can clear it up on what I should do?

I did, 4 times now. They all say the same thing. "its under payment verification, wait the maximum amount of 12 hours and it will be shipped."

Then contact them again and don't be passive about it

And contact your bank or CC handler also. They might be blocking single payments that are just under your limit.

Did you create the account just to buy this camera?  You need to call them and ask what the hold up might be, a week for a 12hr request leads me to believe something else is going on here.
