So I'm upgrading my 1060 3g so my girlfriend can have it, and I'm stuck on which one. Or should I be looking at something else? TIA

The 590 isn't much of an upgrade. I'd go with the 1660 Ti.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

1660Ti ~= 1070 > RX 590 ~= RX 580 ~= RX 480 ~= GTX 1060 < 1070

RX 590 would be MAYBE 20% faster. Not worth it. 1660ti however would be a solid 40%-50% upgrade.
