Price to performance?

Is it worth it to me to sell my Used MSI RTX 2070 Gaming Z and using that money and some to buy a 2080?

I mean you're gonna sell the RTX 2070 for 400$~ and then add another 300-400$ to buy the 2080, at this point it's better to buy another used RTX 2070 and SLI.

you'll be way ahead of the RTX 2080, but ofc there's disadvantages with SLI but all in all I think that's a better route.

It's up to you really but personally I'd say no, the 2070 is more than capable of driving 1440P 144Hz.

like 3 months haha I got it on sale for like 510 but it sells for $600. Ill probably just stick it out till 2 or 3 years of new cards

SLI is dieing / already dead.  Time to move on from caring about it, most game devs and games have already.

 

Just ask Linus how the 2nd to last Scrapyard Wars went for him trying to use SLI.

sli is not optimal anyway haha never have I ever told anyone with a brain to go SLI unless its 2 of the best cards and they just want to flex on people. no sense in spending money on the sli anyway for the 2070 because your about at 1k might as well get the 2080ti!
