Is 87c safe temperature for an r9 380 4gb saphire?

Hey guyz.

Sorry for my bad english..

 

A month ago i was cleaning my whole pc and by mistake i broke the fan.. i tried to fix it but it is completely broken then i took it out and running my pc for a month with one fan.. it is running fine.. i see the temps while i was gaming .. but i saw it in one game only which was cs go and the highest temps was the 70c.. i know cs go wasn't stressing out my gpu.. i also run furmark for 5 minutes and the highest temp was 81c.. it wasn't going up .. now i m downloading my demanding games like apex legend which makes the usage of my gpu to 100%.. now i m seeing the max temp 87c.. i run alot of benchmarks high end games, stress test but the highest temp is 87c i m sure it cannot rise more then 87c..it doesn't throttle too.. and these temps are after applying a new thermal paste.. and in my country finding an individual fan is very hard.. ebay, amazon and other webs doesn't work.. so i wanted to ask.. am i hurting my gpu? Am i safe at these temps? What are the temps at which i should be worry?

Nah 87C is fine. That's usually the limit set in place by GPUs so you could be thermal throttling technically. To check go into an OCing program and look at the temp limit. You could just zip tie a case fan on it in the meantime lol

Just keeping this here as a Safe yes, ideal no.

 

You could just ghetto strap a standard 120mm fan to it, plug it into a fan header on the Mobo. Wont look good but it will help.

The heat itself shouldn't damage the GPU as long as it is under 100C or so. But it will probably thermal throttle. Also running it at temps this high my reduce GPUs lifespan but it probably won't fry it.

I look through msi afterburner which shows the usage during gameplay.. but the clocks doesn't change.. and i think it should go down if it is throttling.. it is also a little bit overclocked.. core clock at 1050mhz and memory clock is at 1600mhz.. i don't want to remove my overclock cause it gives a nice bump to the performance

I don't think so that it is throttling coz i was checking the stats through msi afterburner and the clocks doesn't reduce.. and also i don't feel any performance loss
