A decent 650w would probably be fine but with a build that expensive I'd go 750w just to be sure.

My motto in life: It's better to have it and not need it than need it but not have it.

Main Rig:-

Ryzen 7 3800X | Asus ROG Strix X570-F Gaming | 16GB Team Group Dark Pro 3600Mhz | Corsair MP600 1TB PCIe Gen 4 | Sapphire 5700 XT Pulse | Corsair H115i Platinum | WD Black 1TB | WD Green 4TB | EVGA SuperNOVA G3 650W | Asus TUF GT501 | Samsung C27HG70 1440p 144hz HDR FreeSync 2 | Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS |

Server:-

Intel NUC running Server 2019 + Synology DSM218+ with 2 x 4TB Toshiba NAS Ready HDDs (RAID0)

Hope it's not a gaming rig, as it makes no sense for that.

As for wattage, 450-550W, assuming it's a decent unit. Can't really give recommendations for PSUs without knowing what's available to you.

What da cuck is this abomination of a combo?

Why are you overspending super hard on a CPU you probably shouldnt buy?

But yes 650 watt is more than enough.

You should probably go look at any other CPU-GPU combo. With no exceptions.

I didn't get the CPU + GPU combo. Are you planning to buy better gpu for some kind of content working or you'll be only gaming?

But to your question. Yeah you will be fine with 650W. Just buy one of tier S or A.

It is for gaming...I haven't build a computer in a long time. I wanted something that is future proof for few years. Do do you have any suggestion on a cpu + gpu combo?

for that i would rather choose something like a 2080 and a 9600

but i can make up a build at your chosen budget, all i need is a location and a budget now

I9 is just overkill. You will be fine with i5-9600k or i7-9700k also if you are not planning to overclock just don't buy K processor it's more or less just waste of your money. Don't buy weaker 1660ti if you have that budget go for RTX2070, RTX2080/ti or RADEON VII.

With that i7 and 2080 or 2080ti you will be fine for few next years i think.

Though I'd look at Ryzen and the possibility of upgrading the CPU as well.

Mmmmkay then

PCPartPicker part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pHJhpG
Price breakdown by merchant: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pHJhpG/by_merchant/

CPU: Intel - Core i7-9700K 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor  ($418.99 @ Amazon) - Still 8 cores and OC's decently. For a gaming rig, more than enough.
CPU Cooler: Noctua - NH-D15 82.5 CFM CPU Cooler  ($89.95 @ Amazon) - Double the heatsinks, double the fun
Motherboard: Asus - PRIME Z390-A ATX LGA1151 Motherboard  ($183.00 @ Amazon) - Excellent motherboard, although VRMs are a bit lacking
Memory: Team - T-Force Delta RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory  ($99.99 @ Newegg) - 3000MHZ RGB RAM, 16GB is more than enough
Storage: Samsung - 970 Evo 500 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive  ($149.99 @ Samsung) - I boot off a 250GB one, very fast
Storage: Crucial - MX500 1 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($134.85 @ OutletPC) - Use one as a storage drive, it's great. If you ever need more storage you can just drop in a hard drive
Video Card: EVGA - GeForce RTX 2080 Ti 11 GB XC GAMING Video Card  ($1229.99 @ B&H) - The fastesttm video card on the market today
Case: Fractal Design - Meshify C TG ATX Mid Tower Case  ($99.98 @ Newegg) - Good case
Power Supply: EVGA - SuperNOVA G1+ 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($59.89 @ OutletPC) - 650W is honestly overkill, but it's a good unit and was fairly cheap. I'd recommend picking up some cable extensions to make your build look great
Case Fan: Noctua - NF-A15 HS-PWM chromax.black.swap 82.52 CFM 140mm Fan  ($26.90 @ Amazon) - Extra fans to replace ugly shit brown stock Noctua ones.
