im running a 1080 paltit super Jetstream and my temps are hitting 85? is this normal 

 

what is everyone else's views  on this?

like slottr said turn up the fan curve, could also check for and blow out any dust

turned up fan curve 40/40 /50/50 etc 

 

came down a little no more warning in top corner but do find it strange being so high?

Not really, thermal paste between the cooler and the chip deteriorates or dries up, parts deteriorate-it happens
