What fan should I get (looks and performance)

• I got Deepcools rf120 a week ago but I was looking Into the Thermaltake Riing 120mm Aura Sync RGB fans 12v but also looking at the Corsair HD120 I have a Corsair Case. Should I keep my RF120 (get another 3 pack) or get one of these other fans (in a six pack)

Will you use it in the case or in a radiator?

 

I only know the Thermaltake are noisy at full speed, never had the others

The Deepcool fans don't list their static pressure, so they're low static pressure fans. They'll be just fine as intake or exhaust fans, but I wouldn't use them on a radiator or heatsink.

In my opinion, the best fans are the Corsair ML fans, I prefer them to Noctua NF's for quietness and they are very well optimized for a perfect balance between static pressure and airflow. And they come in LED or RGB, that being said they are expensive.

if you are worried about performance you already failed by looking at RGB models, I've done this comparison between RGB and non-lighted versions of the same fan, the performance hit was insane, something like 60% the static pressure of the non-lit model.

Well I don’t want my pc to look boring so I went looking for rgb fans and I like it and not all rgb fans are bad either

thats cool, I took the hit on my front 360 rad because I wanted to maintain the RGB fans of the 570x case. was just making sure you are aware of the performance hit they cause.

Same. For looks and performance I'd personally go for Noctua or BeQuiet! fans. BeQuiets are really, really damn quiet and well made, Noctuas are a bit louder (or quite a bit louder depending on the model), but they have really, really good static pressure fans and the quality is top notch. Both types of fans are gorgeous too IMO, espesh Noctua's newer black fans.
