Temps too high? AIO cooler not working well?

NorKris

Hi

Im in a prosess to build a new rig, got everything connected and done, but the temps on my i9 7940x during r15 is very high (103c) (4.4Ghz)

My Cooler is a Kraken x52 with corsair fans in push/pull and termal grizzly paste

but my kraken pump is the loudest in the system..

do you guys think the cooler is bad / to blame her?

can you feel any heat coming from your radiator and fans?

double check that you pulled the plastic protector from the cooler if it was brand new, not to judge you but it happens alot

maybe even shake the radiator and pump around (outside the system ofc) to see if there is sloshing as there could be an air gap and the pump is running dry

The kraken doesnt seem like a good match for a 14c intel cpu, but at stock settings it shouldn't be 100 degrees still. But dont try to overclock with that cooler.

Have you tried re mounting the cooler with new thermal paste.

I only see your reply if you @ me.
