It's this kind of stuff that completely pulls me away from water cooling, not to mention my lack of knowledge in overclocks.

Let's hope the rice can fix it. I have one of those closed loop CPU coolers that have a much smaller chance of leaking. (Got a great deal, 40 bucks for a brand new Kuhler 620.)

so i was using distilled water. and i stopped the leak then i tried to boot. it would go on for like 4 secs then shut down, then on and off again, and so on. my gpu is in the rice aswell the water got into my pcie slots. FML

if you are reading this you are wasting valuable time and should maybe rethink your life choices.

Ideally everything that may have been hit should be totally surrounded by rice for a few days as quickly as possible.

few reasons why i don't use Dye's in the liquid, had a friends who system leaked and it stained the metal in the case.

also if you use the specialist liquid you buy from Computer liquid cooling companies, it wont short out your system, its none conductive stuff.
