2600 vs 9600k

Current set up is 3570k with 8 gigs and rtx 2070 gigabyte windforce. Mainly gaming Pubg on 1080p 144hz monitor. Got the 2070 to eventually upgrade to 1440p 144hz monitor.

 

Setup is mostly used for gaming and light office work.

 

Going to microcenter to upgrade cpu, mobo, and ram.

 

Can decide if going with intel is worth the extra money and I would have to get a new cpu cooler, noctua d14?

Go with Intel, its better for high refresh rate gaming compared to AMD.

9600K has higher single-core performance and the 2600 has better multi-core performance.

 

How much is the price difference?
