Put liquid metal into macbook

z3r0pl4y

Hello!

Some time ago I purchased a Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut liquid metal, don't ask why...

Now I had the idea of putting it into my MacBook Pro from 2017.

Is that even possible and if so, is it dangerous? Because I have heard that liquid metal doesn't like some materials...

Do you think it is worth it?

Thanks a lot!

Michael

Just get a big tub of liquid metal and throw your entire MacBook into it, it will never again heat up over room temperature xD

All jokes aside though, do you really need it? Doing this will surely void your warranty. If you don't have any overheating issues, it won't be worth the risk imho...

75% of what I say is sarcastic

So is the rest probably

Surely, there is no overheating issues because Macs just throttle if temperature becomes too high. I was thinking about the same idea, but decided not to take risk. Macs are not productivity computers, if you need a powerful machine, build a PC.
