AOC G2590FX color calibration

Nowak

Does anyone else have an AOC G2590FX and, if so, what color settings do you use? I know I'll never get the colors to look 1:1 with an IPS monitor but I'd still like to make this monitor look as good as I can possibly get it.

Tom's Hardware has a calibrated color setting for it, although in my experience Tom's Hardware profiles end up being slightly more red than a calibrated IPS.

This is for the G2460PQU but I tried those settings anyway. Yeah, they did end up being more red than my IPS.

And that's what I get for not reading.

AOC might have an ICC profile you can add to the display, or check out http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/articles/icc_profiles.htm

I don't see a LowBlue Mode labeled "weak"?

Okay, that looks much less washed out. How about color settings?

  • 1 month later...

This isn't really colour advice, but I got a very good result from playing with the setting "shadow control", it affects a lot.
