Google Drive Throttling Limit

ccabana

Hi!

I'm planning on storing my archival files on Google Drive until I can afford to build a small NAS. I'm 14 so it'll take me several months to save for the NAS project, so I'm going to use Google Drive. I'm using G Suite with 'unlimited' storage and I wanted to know when they start throttling, and if they throttle when you download your files, or throttle from Google Takeout.

At the moment, I'm storing 85GBs and rising about 20GB/month, as I shoot in UHD 60fps.

Any answers are appreciated! Thanks for reading!

You don't need NAS for storing your files. Another internal or even extremal drive is cheaper and give you the same. And, unlike Google, speed will be limited only by drive, not by internet speed.
