Depends what settings you're willing to drop to. What do you mean by "how long will it last?" That's such a vague question.

How long it lasts is entirely subjective, as video cards don't typically 'wear out' or experience performance degradation. So they will last until you decide they're no longer good enough (unless they die, which is possible but rare).

As far as right now, I would say that it's perfectly good for 1080p high fps in esports games.

Double check everything, I am usually wrong.

The games I play all get over 144 on 1080p. But I’m using a 1080 and a cpu that can keep up.

I mean for esports games at 144fps if you're willing to turn settings down to medium I'd say almost indefinitely. Rust it'll probably do, and same with Fortnite. No card will do PUBG though.

So if all you're doing is playing Esports games then yeah... it could last over 5 years. I mean no many esports games launch anyways so you'll probably be playing the same ones from years ago. I mean I doubt we see a new Counterstrike, League of Legends, Fortnite, or Overwatch anytime soon.

RX 580's a lot slower than 1070ti. Like 1070ti is almost 50% faster than RX580.

Well you would need to be more specific as there isn’t a FPS scenario in the question. Just hz. So any card can do 144hz even in pubg.

Also didnt list the settings preferred.

Wait to see what the 1160 or 1660 TI or what ever that card is called can do. It might be cheaper and same performance.
