If you mean the Athlon, someone has actually managed to consider bottleneck worse than my current PC, lol. 2 cores and a 1070Ti level GPU is not a good idea.

You're not listing enough information, what games are you playing? What resolution are you playing at?

holy shit why did you even buy the 1070ti?? why didnt you upgrade the cpu??

2600 + b450 + 8gb 2666 = <$300. that would have been a MUCH better investment

If you had read the rest of my signature, you could have taken a guess that I'm just using the 1070Ti until I put it into my new PC, which I haven't built yet. Don't get on me for investments, I made the choice, I know what I'm doing and the deed is done.

I'm not going to get a better GPU for my new PC, either, because I'm only gaming at 1080p.

Fair enough. I'm only playing csgo so the only real jump I got from my 960 2gb was that I got the ability to use better texture settings, and that my FPS got a tiny bit higher.

Like a 1200 or 2200g

Go for at least an R5 2600 with a 2060. The quad cores will defo be a bottleneck in a lot of newer titles (more and more want 6 cores, though most don't scale much past that).
