What would be more favorable on a PC build?
1: A computer not that fast but very stable and with an specific porpose in mind.

2:A computer really fast and topped off with general porpoise but ultimately unstable and unpredictable.

I'm asking this because my friend has a PC more powerful than mine but very oftenly he runs into crashes into very simple aplications such as Aseprite and Construct and also blue screens on very well optimized games such as League of Legends.

I usually run League of Legends at from 60 to 70fps on lower settings and his PC runs it at around 180fps on high to max settings.

I don't really remember his computer's specs but here's what I know.

Friend's PC:

CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Six cores 3.2Ghz-3.6Ghz 9Mb cache

GPU: GT 430 1GB DDR3
RAM:8GB DDR3 (2x4GB)

My PC:

CPU: intel core i7-3517U 1.9GHz - 2.4Ghz duale core hyper threaded

GPU: intel hd4000 350Mhz 32MB(dedicated) 128MB(shared)

RAM: 4GB DDR3 SODIMM

Hi, I am from Brazil and I pretend on building a Ryzen 2200G build. (to convert to Brazil's currency look up <your currcency> to BRL)

The faster and unstable

Downclock it to make it stable and use that sweet 8GB of Ram.

I'm yet to build a an actual PC, I'm planning on buying the Ryzen 2200g and 8GB of RAM (2x4GB), prices here in Brazil are salty as heck tho.

Crashes mean you can lose data or, depending on the reason for the crashes, degrade components. Even without instability your friend's rig should be superior, so advise a lower performance target if you can.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Stability always. Besides that, your friends PC has issues, and I think ultimately you have better performing PC. Which you could make even better by adding another 4gigs of RAM and increasing VRAM for iGPU.

Stability.

Speed means nothing if it isn't stable.

They are not mutually exclusive.  Your friends machine just has issues, no reason it can't be stable and faster than yours.
