I personally install games on my SSHD since SSD space is rather premium and i dont game often enough to warrant super high speed storage. Though if your computer is only used primarily for gaming and your installed SSD has the space to spare, then install your favourite games to it. If not then hard drives aren't too slow and should work just fine for casual/irregular gaming.

I suck a typing, preparw for typos.

Currently playing games on ssd. 250gb faster is drive and 500 Gb slower dedicated steam drive. Both ssds.

Hdds for the rest. I tend to transfer games to the ssd before playing.

But then again I got a 32GB for $150 early days and never turned back.

With the prices of ssds these days it's madness not to have one just for your currently playing games.

Depends on the game, as not all games benefit from SSD speeds. Most of my commonly played multiplayer games go on my dual 500GB SSDs configured via software for a RAID0/1 Read/Write setup, while my less played larger games go onto my dual 3TB HDDs, also configured the same way.

Desktop: KiRaShi-Intel-2022 (i5-12600K, RTX2060) Mobile: OnePlus 5T | Koodo - 75GB Data + Data Rollover for $45/month
Laptop: Dell XPS 15 9560 (the real 15" MacBook Pro that Apple didn't make) Tablet: iPad Mini 5 | Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 10.1
Camera: Canon M6 Mark II | Canon Rebel T1i (500D) | Canon SX280 | Panasonic TS20D Music: Spotify Premium (CIRCA '08)

Same. If it is not an intense game, then it goes in the HDD.
