I currently game on 42 inch tv screen and have a maximum of 200 to spend on a monitor, what should I get

My current specs are a r9 390 i5 4960k and 8gb of ram, I built my pc after my xbox one broke in 2016 and used the same samsung tv I used for my xbox as my monitor for my computer. As you can imagine it is not the best experience in the world, alot of textures just don't look right and anything under about 40 fps looks like a slideshow, I have been looking at monitors for the past month now and have made no progress in finding a good one, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
