liquid within res evaporating rather quickley

so ive built my first custom loop maybe 2 weeks ago.  Everyday, i notice that the liquid in my res keeps dropping even tho there are no leaks.  Now i do understand that ive been doing a lot of gaming and streaming latley which generates heat but should it be going away as quickley as it is?  i maybe filled it up to the top maybe a week to a week and a half and it has lost maybe 5-10%  of the overall liquid in the res.  any ideas or is this normal?

what is your liquid temps? cap airtight?

Since you just built your loop and if it's capped off, it's air bubbles or pockets trapped in your loop slowly making it's way out to the res.

the cap is sealed.  how long does it usally take tho for all the air bubbles to release?  also what good software can i use to monitor liquid temps?

It can take a few weeks for all the bubbles to make it's way out, you can try speeding it up my moving the system around to try and dislodge them and remove any trapped pockets of air.

 

For fluid temps you will need to have a temp probe in the loop and either hook it up to a temp in line to your motherboard if it has that option or to a third party solution that can monitor temps via software.

I think this is the case.  If you are using distilled water, the surface tension would be high and bubbles would be trapped.  It could take weeks even months for them all to come out.

depending on the complexity of your loop, they might never fully get out. i have had my loop in this config for months and i still sometimes see a little air bubble coming up through a tube.

as for liquid temps, i use a in-line sensor hooked up to a stand alone display. i'm afraid you need to atleast buy a seperate sensor if you want to know this.

Have you titled the pc all around with pump running to burp air out of the system ?Rads can trap air bubbles or pockets and you won't have a idea tell it works loose or you title it enough.If you have a front rad with the ports down you can get a bubble trapped in the top of the rad.A pump running at the max speed will push every air bubble/pocket loose over time which i think is whats happening to yours since you have zero leaks.

If it wasn’t bleed, prolly just trapped air. Wouldn’t worry about it.
