The age of consent in most states is like.. 16... some are even younger. The only way it would be "illegal" is if you were over 18 and she was under. Unless, of course, you live in one of the very few states (California, Wisconsin, etc) in which it is 18. But even then... who would know?

 

That being said... don't get pressured into it by anyone. It's really not as "awesome" as a lot of people make it out to be.

 

Personally, judging by this post, I'd wager you should probably wait a while to grow up anyway. ;)

The best advice I can give you (being a few years out of high school myself) is that you focus on your grades. High school is a large determining factor in your future. I'm not saying that it's crucial to everything like your teachers might make it out to be but if you do good in those 4 years it will make things significantly easier for you.
