650w or 750w PSU for my build?

Manuel-KLG

Hello again! I've already made a topic about my future build but I want to ask something else this time. The build:

CPU- Ryzen 5 2600

GPU- 1070 MSI gaming x or rtx 2060

Mobo- Msi b450 tomahawk

RAM- G.skill trident Z 16gb 3200mhz

HDD- 2TB Barracuda

SSD- 250gb Samsung 860 evo

So, will a 650w Seasonic Focus plus 80+ gold PSU work fine with this build or do I need the 750w version? The 750w is 20 euro more expensive than the 650w one.

Thank you!

You could use a 400w psu with that build, so the 650w is more than enough while giving you headroom in the future

PC: CPU: i5-9600k - CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 - GPU: Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB GDDR6 - Motherboard: ASRock - Z370 Extreme4 - RAM: Team - T-Force Delta RGB 16 GB DDR4-3000 - PSU: Corsair - TXM Gold 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply - Case: Thermaltake - Core G21 TG

650 watts is plenty for a R5 2600 + GTX 1070, and will allow for future upgrades (maybe a better CPU).

Neither, 550W is more than enough, hell even 450W is sufficient.

But I'd get one of those:
be quiet Straight Power 11, Bitfenix Formula or Whisper M.
