3DMark Port Royal released

The ray tracing PC benchmark is out... and those with RTX cards can try it out. Apart from Battlefield V, is there any other generally available RT software yet?

On a stock 2070 paired with a stock 7800X the benchmark itself ran around 20fps. For much of the bench, I was wondering if RTX was on until I started noticing subtle details, like reflections in gloss paint surfaces before the metallic ship landed. A concern had been that ray tracing would lead to over-done effects and it seems that UL mostly took the subtle approach, almost too far the other way that you're not seeing the benefits so easily.

Presumably as it is so new, there is nothing to compare against yet. Link below to my only result. I'll try overclocking later to see if that helps.

I did try running it on 1080Ti to see if it would even give a slideshow. Computer says no.

I'm wondering if adjusting some of the custom settings might allow it to work, but that's for another day. Still, doesn't sound likely to be able to disable ray tracing in a ray tracing benchmark...
