Is it possible to use free-sync with a 1050ti? i have a samsung 1080p 60hz monitor with free-sync.

Nvidia just announced they're going to start supporting freesync on select monitors. Just a matter of time.

On with low spec 10 series cards? my monitor's not for gaming (but it looks nice so, why not?)

It is but experience will vary. Nvidia themself talked about image errors. They have to still sell Gsync monitors

on Jan 15th Nvidia will release a new driver with Freesync support. Only 12 of over 400 they tested passed there testing to qualify out of the box with Freesync support, but you will be able to manually enable it in the Nvidia control panel.

Yes? But that doesnt negate the fact that Nvidia is starting to roll out support for freesync.

If i enable that then full free sync on my monitor, would that work or only with their select few monitors?

if the monitor supports freesync, when you enable it, you will have freesync support from Nvidia, however your mileage will vary on how well it is since only 12 are "certified" from Nvidia to be fully functional according to there standards.

Well if you have an AMD APU it is possible, otherwise that's a big nope.

Besides the greatest majority of FreeSync displays are looking like will still not work.

it will work on the next nvidia drivers you'll be able to turn on Freesync from the nvidia control panel, and it'll work will all freesync monitors...nvidia is ''certifying'' some of them which are higher-end high refresh rate expensive freesync displays, but it will work even with the non certified piece of crap entry level monitors with a freesync window of 48hz to 60hz.
