Better search engine

Can we have search by subforum and by thread?

I've seen this elsewhere and it's very useful: I can search for something in Mods for instance without getting hits in graphic cards or vice-versa and so on…

If this feature already exist I apologise but I couldn't find it

There is allready a search option. 

 

Its at the top of the page, or "expand" in the top right

Top right hand corner of the page, there is a search bar. You can search in basically every way you mentioned from there.

Already is my default search engine on Opera with the in-built VPN running - faulty as it is anyway

If you need something better, you could go into google and type Site: and then the search term. I use this all the time for the verge website, as it's search feature breaks up phrases down to the individual words and finds all of the articles with any of those words in them. Here is an example of how I used it for the forums: https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Alinustechtips.com+corsair+scimitar+pro&rlz=1CADEAC_enUS815&oq=site%3Alinustechtips.com+corsair+scimitar+pro&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i58.23380j0j1&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&surl=1&complete=0&safe=active&ssui=on

I think you can turn them on for certain websites
