Ultimate Dream Build For Free (Hypothetical)

How's the quality? Also warranty?

Warranties tick me off, people overspend for a warranty, then complain to me when I purchase something for myself that doesn't have a warranty, but usually I can buy 2-3 of the same product they bought so warranty be damned. (I take care of my stuff and the chances of them breaking are slim to boot)

And a build that I made mostly out of fun and for a friend. This one is - in a lot of respects - inferior to my current system, but in others, far superior.

All of these builds are realistically things I would own if I had the disposable income for such a thing. Some prices for items I entered in might be wrong, and may have changed over time. Also, don't flame me for picking Nvidia Shield; sometimes I just want to sit in my bed and scratch my balls while playing on my 3DS XL. Furthermore, notice none of them are X79. That would just be completely arbitrary for what I use a computer for. I suppose people on the forums could look at me with envy, and others could laugh at me for spending so much on something I'll probably never utilize. And yes, some builds I make with the BenQ XL2420TE and some I make with an Asus ProArt monitor. I like both.

What depresses me is when I'm building these systems in PCPartPicker, and I see the Asus boards. I'm not sad that they went with a gold theme, I'm sad that they aren't going with a blue theme. I like black and blue!

Your dream build is only two 780Ti's and a 4770K?

Wat....

I wouldn't want more than two 780Ti-s but id be rockin' a 4970X or something 2011, fir more pci bandwidth and more ram.

A man of charm with strange quarks.

I'm pretty much in the process of finishing it up.

Current specs-

Corsair 750D

4770K

Gigabyte Z87-UD4H

16GB Red Corsair Vegence LP

EVGA 780 Classified

Corsair AX850

Samsung 256GB 830

Heatkiller CPU block (can't remember the model off hand)

XSPC RS240

XSPC Pump/Res combo (the one from the Rasa kit)

Thermaltake T1 mechanical keyboard

Steelseries Diablo 3 mouse

Sony Pulse Elite headphones

Qnix QX2710 Matte

10 year old Creative speakers

Primochill red tubing

1TB Seagate external drive

I will soon be buying:

NZXT H440

Switech MCP655

Alphacool NexXxoS UT60 360rad

XSPC D5 Tank Res

EK 780 Classified Nickle GPU block

3x Noctua NF12 fans

XSPC Raystorm

XSPC Raystorm red faceplate

About the only things I would really like to add to this build to make it "perfect" would be:

A second Classy with GPU block

An Alphacool UT30 360rad with three more NF12s

Two more 8GB sticks of Vegence LP RAM (just for how it would look)

A 512GB SSD

More of these? Can there just be a dream build section? Or does something like that already exist...?

There is only so much variety these can have. You could practically have one person who posts everyone's dream build.

How's the quality? Also warranty?

Quality: 5 of 6 are in perfect, brand new condition. The 6th does have some top edge light bleed, but it is only noticeable on a solid, dark screen which I almost never have up.

Warranty: I'll be honest, I don't pay attention to warranty after 30 days. If it lasts more than 30 days before it messes up, it is usually my own fault. The only product I have ever had start messing up after 30 days that wasn't my fault was my iPhone 4. I know there are always accidents, but take care of your stuff and you are golden.

I`d love to watercool all my components because i really want to build something on my pc but atm i dont have enough money. Im quite confident with my system right now, maybe a 290x. 2560x1440display is something i`d want aswell. they`re just too overpriced. A 2560x1600 samsung tablet with 8 cores is cheaper than one of dem displays:-(

120hz 24 inch 4K OLED display without any kind of display latency or motion blur.

A PC that can drive the above, and a decent headset, I will keep my current peripherals.

I dunno, really. Just it's pretty old, and it's a quad-core. And besides, you could probably get a 2600k and OC the balls off of it.

Well it would be nice to know if they have a warranty or not. I might pick up 2 more if they do. The first one I got new off of Newegg.

or you could overclock the QX9770 to 5GHz and besides the 780 Ti is going to be rendering frames in 4K so it's not like it's going to be above 60fps to begin with. Back in the day, I overclocked my QX9650 to 4.9GHz so high overclocks really aren't that difficult.
