Appreciated 1 thing i forgot to mention I am avoiding leather pad headphones i'm quite a sweaty guy. I'm check out Audio technica

I have the 6XX and 2 weeks earlier bought the AKG K7XX as my first 'audiophile' headphones.

 

They are both great overall, but comparing them side by side I can see why people recommend the K7XX for gaming over the Sennheiser HD6XX. They really do have a wider sound stage. If you can afford $200 headphones, I would definitely suggest the AKG's for gaming.
