Isn't there a sensitivity setting? Not for the pencil but the tablet itself.

You can probably press pretty hard on it without breaking it. Especially if you have a glass screen protector.

Make sure to quote or tag people, so they get notified.

If you're using a new ipad pro, it will bend before the glass breaks.

Unless you're intentionally trying to break the glass then it won't be an issue. If you shatter glass with the pencil then that might be a sign to give up on handwriting and drawing because you clearly don't have control over your wrists

Well, an LCD will get wavy if you press the display hard, so I think that'd be an easy measurement for what is too much pressure. I'd say if you use the thing normally it'll be hard to do any damage.

You won't be able to break the screen don't worry. Apple use Gorilla glass on most of their portable lineup.

Just write on it how you would write on paper unless you write so hard the paper breaks.

LOL well Pencil I don’t press hard because writing you don’t use more than 1 shade on purpose

however drawing and shading that’s different because your purposely putting pressure to go darker

If you're going to be drawing and shading (which is part of the whole marketing thing of the Apple Pencil and the iPads) then it should be fine as long as you don't smash the pencil into the screen with all of your strength.
