battlefield v Battlefield 5 with RTX 2070 no Ray Tracing

Hi, I bought the  MSI GEFORCE RTX 2070 ARMOR 8G OC 3 days ago with latest drivers, latest updates on Windows 10 prox64 and in Battlefield 5 there is no option in the game video settings for DRX (Ray Tracing). Help please!!!

when youre on desktop, press windows button+r, type winver and run it, then post the image here

First you need to enable DXR in the advanced graphics tab on top and then choose which setting you want.

But first check if Windows is up to date

This is what i am saying the option DXR is missing in the video/advanced options

i think your windows version doesnt support raytracing, you need version 1809

you can manually update to that version (just google around a bit)

 

personally i dont think its worth it, raytracing performance on 2070 will suck and you risk problems with the windows update

(i think this update was pulled like 3 times because it caused problems for users)

Hmm... Well if the issue is there, i guess i will have to wait for Microsoft.

As for the performance, i am still on 1080p and anything above 50/60 FPS is totally playable for me...

Yep you need v1809 for ray tracing, you can manually update here https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=799445

Thank you guys for solving my problem, i don't know if i will update manually or wait for Microsoft to solve the (issues) with the update.
