How can I reverse search an image I have saved and find posts on Instagram with the same image?

I have a few images saved and I want to see if I can find those same images posted by people on Instagram. Google reverse image search does not work because Google does not index images from Instagram. Any help is appreciated.

If you know how to do it on Facebook, that will be helpful as well.

Are you trying to track down a person? Because that's what it sounds like.

I usually edit my posts immediately after posting them, as I don't check for typos before pressing the shiny SUBMIT button.

Not trying to "track down a person". Just trying to find someone I met but lost contact with.

There's TinEye. But I don't know if that helps either. I don't know if Instagram has secured their images out of search engines reach.

There's no way of "securing images out of search engines reach". Wether search engines (or crawlers and spiders for that matter) index stuff you marked as "don't index" or not is completely up to the programmer of said crawler/spider.

People really need to realize this, anything you put on the internet is public in one way or another

75% of what I say is sarcastic

So is the rest probably

I meant more that they may get cached thumbnail, but accessing actual image or profile it relates to may not be possible. Not unless you want to do something borderline legal, which would render this very suspicious action.
