Forcing apps to use Direct 3D

Hey all Im asking about this.  Is there a way to force the app to use D3D ?

No, it must be coded for D3D.

If it wasn't I cant sorta throw the app into a virtual D3D box or something,, hope that makes sense.

Not really, no.

 

Rendering it to a texture and rendering that texture from system memory into a D3D instance can be done, but this will involve writing a bunch of your own code. Its also generally slow.
