Best Budget AIO?

HI i just built a computer and my cpu is running sometimes up to 95C when just using AMD Stock cooler, so I think it would be a good idea to get an external cooler, what would you recomend at a low price?

A lot of times, a budget AIO is worse than a similarly price air cooler.

Can you give us some more info about your setup?

Something is clearly wrong if your CPU is going up to 95C on the stock cooler.

 

I run an overclocked Ryzen 5 1600 on the stock cooler, and I've never seen temps go higher than 60-65C.

Is your CPU cooler tightened down all the way?

What thermal paste have you applied to the cooler? Are you just using the stock paste? Also, did you remember to remove the plastic on the bottom of the cooler plate before mounting it?

I see u have a matx case, ur gonna have a job fitting a half decent AIO in there.

That sounds like a poorly installed cooler. Either the thermal paste is not doing it's job correctly for one reason or another or you don't have enough mount pressure.

NO trust me my case 6x240mm radiators its insane, check it out, thermaltake core v21, its a cube case and is extremely modular

just the stock paste but youre right maybe ive forgotten to take of the label, ill reinstall the cooler

I use a 120mm AIO on my Ryzen 7 1700 - temps are ridiculously fine.  Its also only a 65w TDP processor.

 

I never used the Wraith that came with mine so I cant compare apples to apples, but my testimony is this - on that processor the 120mm AIO (CM Lite 120 for $24.99 shipped) is more than enough.  And I cant hear it when in use and that's very important to me.

thanks but ive resolved the issue now, might be a future upgrade

Ibasically had to rebuild my whole computer as the backplate on the mobo had come loose so the cooloer was not held on properly. I have now played a bit and my cpu temps stay around 50C which is perfect, thanks for the help

Well that good to hear. I kinda figured the issue was something along those lines. The stock cooler is quite good on that cpu.
