Nzxt computer case-good airflow for gaming?

Hi,

For my ryzen 5 vr centered build I am looking at the NZXT h700i computer case. I saw a YouTube vid, but they really didn't address airflow.

It's a sweet looking case, but of course I want to keep my components very cool.

Yes I am a newbie. But I'm pumped!

I plan on getting at least one radiator closed loop cooling but want to get one that has virtually no chance of leaking onto components .

Thx...peace

H700 is good for what it is. It wont give you the best airflow possible but it would definitely be enough for an R5 CPU.

(Note this review is of the "i" version when it first came out, which is where a majority of the criticism in this review lies)

nzxt h700i cpu only

nzxt h700i gpu only

We cannot say enough good things about the overall build quality and attention to detail within the case; unfortunately, we also can’t say enough bad things about the smart device, which plays the role of foil to the case.

NZXT should drop the smart device, should consider dropping the HUE integration (you already sell a HUE -- why not just keep selling it as an add-on?), and should list the case at $120-$150. At $150, the competition is the CM H500P. The H700i wins every time in that battle.

Note that both cases have since been revised and GN now recommends the H500P Mesh over the H700 (the two later revs) due to better airflow, but the H700 in my mind is one of NZXT'S best ATX cases they've made in a while.
