So, i was thinking, why arent cases turned (front facing down) so the intake is at the botton and the main exhaust at the top, that way, as heat tends to rise, cooling would be smoother.

The only reason i though of is that if the PC is on the ground it would get more dust, but thats nothing a simple filter (and rising the pc) wouldnt solve.

Video that made me wonder this:

If you want to flip your case, no one here is going to stop you.

Well, thats obviously not the answer i was looking for. But with current cases that wouldnt be much help as the buttons would be hard to reach, the front panel isnt elevated to allow flow and such.

If an air filter can solve dust problem, then stronger fans can solve the airflow (hot air rises) issue. It's not a valid argument.

There are cases that do this, like the Silverstone Raven (RV) series.

I mean.... my intakes are at the bottom of the front of my case and on the bottom of my case, and my exhausts are at the top of the back and back of the top... so... uhm.... it already makes sense.

Not as much, because front fans are not facing upwards, which would increase (i believe) the speed of air as it would be directly below the exhaust.

I mean, maybe there Is a good reason to not be like that, im just wondering.

Because it doesn't actually do anything: https://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/Vertical-vs-Horizontal-Case-Cooling-89/

The thing is, logically since natural convection causes hot air to rise, that it should make sense to create a vertical airflow channel. Except natural convection contributes very little to airflow. The only time it does is if there's a large temperature difference between where it's hot and where it's cold. Airflow from forced convection moves a lot more air than natural convection

There are plenty of inverted cases out there, did you even look? I got me and my boyfriend Corsair Carbide 600Q's myself and they're wonderful cases.
