Good build?

This is a build for a friend. First time into the Gaming PC world. A £600 budget with the "best bang for your buck" in mind. It is for gaming most of the time with the odd other tasks that anything would handle.

It looks good for the money with a i5 4570 and GTX 770. I just want your opinion before we buy it and build it.

Yeah that looks great to me. That's a lot of computer for the money, I doubt anyone here will have any qualms with it either. Happy building!

Get a FX 8320 and a MSI 970A-G46 and then get a Kingston SSDNow V300.

I also said this to him but when we measured the space he had for a case, only a small case would fit. None of the full ATX cases.

Ok thanks. Another thing is my friend will be playing Battlefield 4 the most so should he go for a R9 280X? It is also a little bit cheaper.

Overall it is but on some websites it's around £20 cheaper.

I think it should be ok, though it might be at the minimum of what the build would need. There are lots of power supply calculators out there that are useful, here's one:

It's on the tight side for a 280x. I'd stick with the cx600.
